CMAT Test Pattern: Duration, Sectional composition & Scoring pattern
The CMAT 2023 exam paper has two separate time lengths for candidates who choose the five-section exam or the four-section exam.
- The first option is a three-hour test divided into four 25-question sessions. The components include Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness.
- The second alternative is a three-and-a-half-hour exam divided into five 25-question sections. The subjects covered include quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship.

- Login to your account using the application number and password.
- Fill in the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature in the specified format and size.
- Pay the application fee through online mode using debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Review the application form and click on the “Submit” button.
The application fee for CMAT is Rs. 2,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. After submitting the application form, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
